Not just that, I will also try my best to update the site with jewellery care tips and other relative posts to fashion jewellery mix and match ideas. I will share the link as soon as it finished. “Paz y Bien”

"Tau Cross"

A good friend of mine (also a former teacher), who is a Franciscan brother, asked me to make this Tau cross pendant. In Spanish, “Paz y Bien” means “Peace and all good“, which St. Francis of Assisi used to greet people he met on the road.

Don’t have much to say about the historical nor the religious background here. If you would like to know more, just click on the highlighted words above.

This pendant made of Sterling Silver (925), fully handcrafted, sawed, stamped and polished to mirror-finished. I did my best to keep this cross pendant simple and clean.

It was an honor to make this cross pendant for you, brother (just in case you read this post). Thank you so much for all the support. You will always be in my prayer where ever you are :)

Sweet Mini Pendants

"Sweet Mini Pendants"

After a while, I finally managed to do another sterling silver works. Feels so good to be back in business. Since I want to create more new stuffs to sell, I concentrate on making simple and chic pieces. Hopefully there will be more precious metal jewellery for next month’s collection! Wish me luck! :)

For this necklace, I spent almost 3 days of working on my bench. They’re quite tiny for pendants (about 1×1 cm each), so it took more time to cut out the 3 of them to the shape I want. Also got some trouble on my torch, but I managed to finish them on time. Yay!

Each pendants were handstamped with single initials on one side. W-S-F stands for W – the husband, S – the wife, and F – the baby girl. Specially designed to be worn by a beloved wife as a sentimental adornment. Finally, I attached the 3 pendants on to a ready made sterling silver chain.

This project means a lot to me, because it reminded me how it feels to work on silver again (after quite a while). It’s somewhat addictive, and makes me want to make even more similar works. I’m so in the mood of creating chic and simple jewellery now. Until then! ^^

Swirls Jewellery Set

Finally! I’ve managed to finish the jewellery set ordered by a friend of mine for a wedding gift! It’s a set of earrings, pendant, and cuff (bracelet), made of sterling silver (925), finished with white chrome plating.

Let me make the description simple, despite the complexity of the process. Even though the making process is complicated, I’ve learned so much during the making, and grateful for that. To be able to accomplish the task really motivates me to make more pretty jewellery.

So here’s the earrings (with swirly motifs):

"Swirly Earrings"

The swirls on the earrings plate are the original motifs that came out of my mind. Then I add more swirls for the cuff bracelet.

"Swirly Motifs Cuff Bracelet"

As for the pendant, I took half the swirls from the cuff bracelet and modified it, then make it bigger to fill in the space.

"Swirly Motif Pendant"

The basic shapes used are very geometrical, so I think swirls can give a good balance. Don’t want it to be too masculine or too plain. It’s casual but it’s also for a wedding gift!

Anyway, still got lots of stuffs to write! Hope you enjoy looking up my jewellery works as well as reading my posts!

Need a little break

I haven’t got the time to blog my other works for quite a time (again). At the moment I’m working on a jewelry set and fully concentrate on it.

Anyhow, taking a break for a moment hopefully will make me feel a bit more relaxed and able to think clearly. Time to have my lunch now. And maybe a cup of jasmine tea after! I wish to share the set as soon as I finish it though. Until then!
